south fess

Built in 2005 on an in-fill lot south of the Indiana University Campus; this home touches on the idea of English Arts and Crafts. With an effort to fit in to the neighborhood of four-squares and bungalows, the home is barely detectable as being new. Achieving the feeling of the old craft, diluting the recognition as to whether a building is actually a vintage well preserved one, (when actually the building is brand new), is a developed art wherein the balanced use of period design elements, and the attention to minute detail; can be everything. I cannot imagine this type of project detail accomplished any other way than in "one hand" design and build. See for yourself.
